Welcome to Homer Davenport Days!

Since 1980, Silverton in Marion County, Oregon has celebrated the life and humor of Homer Davenport, internationally respected and pioneering political cartoonist from the turn of the century. The festival consists of an arts and crafts fair, a parade, the Davenport (couch) Races, a political cartoon contest, and many other events.

Davenport always had a strong connection with the place he was born and raised in.
Now, Homer Days is a fun three-day summer festival the whole family can enjoy.
